Blue and Gold Banquet

This annual celebration brings together scouts, families, and the entire Cub Scout community for an unforgettable evening of festivities. The banquet is typically held in February, commemorating the founding of the Boy Scouts of America.

During the Blue and Gold Banquet, we not only recognize the accomplishments of our scouts but also honor those who are ready to embark on their next adventure in Boy Scouts. This momentous occasion, known as the Crossover event, signifies their transition from Cub Scouts to the next chapter of their Scouting journey.

Rain Gutter Regatta

The Rain Gutter Regatta is a thrilling Cub Scout event that combines creativity, competition, and the joy of sailing. It’s a chance for scouts to design and race their very own miniature sailboats down a rain gutter track, putting their engineering skills and teamwork to the test.

As the boats zip down the track, powered by nothing but their sails and the scouts’ ingenuity, cheers and laughter fill the room. It’s a spectacle of speed, agility, and friendly competition, with scouts vying for the title of the fastest and most creatively designed sailboat.

But the Rain Gutter Regatta isn’t just about winning. It’s a chance for scouts to learn about aerodynamics, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. It’s an opportunity for families to come together, support their scouts, and share in the excitement of the race.

Space Craft

During this thrilling experience, scouts have the opportunity to design and build their very own space crafts. Using simple materials and their boundless creativity, they transform ordinary objects into futuristic vessels that are ready to conquer the cosmos.

But the Space Craft Exploration is not limited to the confines of planet Earth. Scouts engage in hands-on activities, such as launching model rockets, conducting experiments, and even simulating astronaut training exercises. They experience the thrill of discovery and the joy of scientific exploration firsthand.

Through this adventure, scouts also cultivate essential skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking. They learn to work together as a crew, navigate challenges, and embrace the spirit of exploration and discovery.

Service Projects

In Cub Scouts, we believe in the power of service and giving back to our community. Through a variety of service projects, our scouts learn the value of kindness, empathy, and making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Whether it’s planting trees to enhance our environment, organizing food drives, or picking up trash to keep our community clean, our service projects instill a sense of responsibility and encourage scouts to be active citizens.

By participating in these projects, Cub Scouts develop leadership skills, teamwork, and a deep understanding of the importance of helping others. It’s a chance for them to demonstrate compassion, make new connections, and leave a lasting impact on the world around them.

Hikes

In the world of Cub Scouts, hiking is more than just a walk in the woods—it’s a grand adventure that sparks curiosity, fosters a love for the outdoors, and unlocks the wonders of nature. Lace up your boots, grab your backpack, and get ready to explore the beauty that awaits!

During our hiking expeditions, scouts embark on thrilling journeys through scenic trails, lush forests, and captivating landscapes. They learn to navigate the wilderness, observe wildlife, and develop an appreciation for the delicate balance of the natural world.

Camping

Camping is at the heart of the Cub Scout experience, where young adventurers embark on unforgettable journeys into nature’s embrace. It’s a chance to unplug, reconnect with the world around us, and create lifelong memories under the starlit sky.

During our camping expeditions, scouts pitch their tents, build campfires, and immerse themselves in the wonders of the great outdoors. From roasting marshmallows and singing campfire songs to embarking on nature hikes and engaging in thrilling outdoor activities, the possibilities for adventure are endless.

Scouts learn essential skills such as setting up camp, cooking outdoors, and practicing good campfire safety. They discover the joy of sleeping under a canopy of stars, sharing stories around the campfire, and forging lifelong friendships with fellow scouts.

Camping fosters self-reliance, resilience, and a sense of adventure. It encourages scouts to explore their surroundings, develop teamwork skills, and appreciate the beauty and serenity of nature. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, learning outdoor survival techniques, or simply soaking in the tranquility of a forest, camping offers a world of experiences waiting to be discovered.

Through our camping expeditions, we aim to ignite the spirit of exploration, instill a love for the outdoors, and nurture an appreciation for the wonders of nature. So, pack your gear, join us around the campfire, and embark on an unforgettable journey with Cub Scouts. Together, we’ll create memories that will warm our hearts and ignite the spark of adventure within us all.
